City of Birmingham Hockey Club was established in June 2019, from the former Yardley Hockey Club founded in May 1932. The current City of Birmingham Hockey Club is comprised of three ladies teams, two mens teams and a badgers side respectively.
City of Birmingham Hockey Club (COB) were recognised as a legacy hockey club of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Moving forwards CoB will continue to provide hockey at a grass root level, encouraging participation opportunities to all.
With strong established links with Birmingham City University, local schools and the community, a large proportion of club members are long-standing members of the club and university teams.
